I am a proud native of beautiful Central Oregon. It was there that I developed an appreciation for nature and all it has to offer. When I'm not creating custom hair designs behind the chair, I love to be out in the open air.
I have always had a passion for doing hair, and like most stylists, I was constantly cutting, trimming and styling any person or family member that I could get my hands on. From a young age I knew that hair was my calling. There is something so satisfying about creating artistic styles for people that make them look good on the outside and more importantly, feel good on the inside.
Following Cosmetology school, I enrolled in cutting and coloring apprenticeship programs that allowed me to further refine my skills, as well as get a feel for the flow of the salon. I was able to work with amazing stylists and teachers.
I love getting together with other artists - fashion designers, photographers and makeup artists - whom I can connect with creatively. I have had the pleasure to work backstage in a number of hair and fashion shows over the years.
I love all aspects of my field and am especially passionate about education. For the last three years, I have been teaching for a zero impact product line called Davines. I really enjoy being able to help people learn about the world of sustainable beauty and how to bring the philosophy to their salons.
green. salon represents everything that is most important to me. We are a zero impact facility that strives to be as sustainable as possible.
